Glass Box Residence

6,900 square foot water front custom residence located on 20 acres
of tropical farmland next to the Demerara River in South America. This residence is desgned to suit the needs of a family consisting of a husband, wife and four siblings. The entry to the property was designed as a central court. Cantilevered concrete steps lead one over the front reflecting pond and into the main residence entry. The design incorperates modern materials such as gray stucco stianless steel, clear anodized aluminum, clear impact glass and glass railing. there is a 2-story tower feature at the main entry that has natural concrete walls with open riser cantilevered concrete steps emenating from the walls. A natural concrete feature tower with irregular frosted glass impact windows is designed in front of the garage that will light up in the evenings to give this feature a sculptural effect and enhance the residence view of the waterway and allows a great amount of light into the residence.
